Pretty collar, but doesn't work for my dog

I’ve been having a hard time picking a suitable new collar for my dog. This is my third attempt. Something about this particular color combination just doesn’t work for me, and I REALLY dislike the metallic gold thread. The collar doesn’t look the same in person as it appeared online. That is no fault of Hound Haberdashery—online images are never 100 percent accurate in terms of how colors display, and there is a lot of variation depending on your computer monitor. Also, the attempt to color coordinate the plastic side-release clasp with the collar fell short. The clasp is kind of a washed-out brown, and I think the standard black would look better. I've bought quite a few collars from Hound Haberdashery through the years, and usually I love them. Just not this one.
